NE Village Market Blvd SE Shady Dolomite Way SE Russell Branch Parkway SE Muddy Siltstone Way SE The Town of Leesburg, Virginia is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide sanitary sewer lining and rehabilitation construction work at various locations within the Town. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to clean/prepare pipe, install, and test Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and appurtenances complete as shown on the Maps and specified herein. CIPP lining is specified as a resin-impregnated flexible tube, which fits against the original pipe. The CIPP will be continuous and tight fitting. Substantial Completion: One Hundred and Eighty (180) calendar days from Notice to Proceed Final Completion: Fifteen (15) calendar days from Substantial Completion Liquidated Damages: $500.00 per day after established Substantial Completion date $1,000.00 per day after established Final Completion date All questions regarding this bid must be submitted in writing via email to BidQuestions@leesburgva.gov until but no later than 2:00 P.M. (local time) on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied with a copy of the bid security , in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bidder's Total Bid Price, pledging that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the TOWN on the terms stated in the Bid. Should the Bidder refuse to enter into such Contract the amount of the bid security shall be forfeited to the TOWN as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. The Town reserves the right to perform all, part, or none of the work. If the bid is accepted by the Town within the period specified above, the Contractor shall provide a certificate of insurance, Payment Bond, and Performance Bond within 10 days of the Notice of Award or Notice of Intent to Award.
