Site work and paving for a road / highway in Leesburg, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the County of Loudoun (County) to obtain proposals from qualified consultants to provide roadway and civil design services to widen and improve Arcola Mills Drive from Belmont Ridge Road to Stone Springs Boulevard (see Attachment 1). Services will include planning, design, right-of-way acquisition assistance, utility relocation coordination, and construction administration. Currently, this project is funded with State and Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA) funds. As a result, this project is required to follow the criteria set forth in VDOT’s Locally Administered Projects (LAP) Manual. These criteria shall include but not be limited to preparing, submitting and retaining all documentation as required by VDOT for the LAP process, as well as assisting the County with any audits conducted by the State regarding this project. As of October 23, 2023, an engineer has been selected.
