Site work and paving for a road / highway in Franklin, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39M, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of constructing approximately 3,650 feet of roadway paving along Union Street in the Town of Franklin. The work to be performed will include milling 2" of existing asphalt and repaving with 2" of hot mix asphalt top course, with other incidental work as required. Bidders must be pre-qualified with MassDOT for Pavement Surfacing for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Pam Vickery, Chief Procurement Officer, Municipal Building, 355 East Central St., Franklin, MA 02038 or to email address: (pvickery@franklin.ma.us) to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids ...the last day for questions will be 10:00 am on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
