Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the demolition of the existing 5-MGwelded steel ground storage tank and construction of a new 5-MG pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank, improvements to the existing triple control valve assembly, replacement of the existing electrical switchgear, painting and coating of the existing pumps, hydro- pneumatic tank, valves, and piping, replacement of the existing fencing, gate and security systems, electrical and instrumentation and controls improvements, site grading and drainage improvements, and other improvements necessary to complete the project as included in the Contract Documents for the Bitters Pump Station Upgrades and Tank Replacement Project. Please be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents. Electronic proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the Respondent who did not submit a bid bond). Construction duration is 1,095 calendar days.
