Reference Number 0000248189 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/06/07 03:00:00 PM CST Contact Information Adnaan Khondokar 306-566-3192 procurementinquiries@saskpower.com Description This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of AS5, AS5-LFL and AS5-KNC 72kV line maintenance and structure replacements, as further described in the RFP Particulars . SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan. This project requires approximately 217 structures that will require either various maintenance activities, structure, crossarm or brace replacement to maintain acceptable reliability on the AS5, AS5-LFL and AS5-KNC 72kV transmission lines. The existing transmission lines are approximately 79km in length and were originally built in 1959 to 1966 using SaskPower's D14 structure series. The lines are currently comprised of approximately 475 structures. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
