Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to June 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000321222 The City of Steamboat Springs is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide professional services for the design and construction of one (1) advanced mountain bike downhill directional trail on Emerald Mountain in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The trail will be a new trail for advanced riders connecting the top of Emerald Mountain with the base of the Howelsen Hill Ski Area. The City would prefer all work be completed in 2023, but based on contractor availability, the contractor may propose an alternate timeline in 2024 if necessary.
