Site work for a water / sewer project in Kansas City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construct approximately 540 linear feet (LF) of gravity flow sewer line out of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PC) pipe with approximately 415 LF bored underneath I-70 in a 24 to 36-inch steel casing pipe. From the end of the bore, the sewer line will be extended at approximately 125 LF to the anchor point manhole on the southeast side of the interstate that will be approximately 20-foot in-depth allowing the entire area to be served by gravity flow. The new gravity flow sewer line will connect to the Town's I-70 lift station that serves the area along the northwest corridor of the De Beque and I-70 Interchange.
