Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Lenoir, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
The Mechanical Contractor is the Prime coordinating contractor for this project. All work including demolition, structural reinforcing, new ceilings, lights and electrical work shall be in the Mechanical Contract. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof, a bidder may offer a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina. A payment & performance bond is required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract, and upon the payment of all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials for the construction of the project.
