Renovation of a water / sewer project in Summit, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The proposed improvement consists of remodelling the existing lobby, offices & toilet room, located at the Summit Pump Station, 7321 W. 59th Street, Summit, IL 60501. All proposals or bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cash, or Certified Check made payable to the Village of Summit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into, and the performance of the Contract is properly secured. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the Proposal deemed to be most favourable to the Owner. Performance Bond (100% of Base Bid amount) and Labor and Material Payment Bond (100% of Base Bid amount) are part of the Contract Bid Amount and shall be furnished upon assignment of Contract The Contractor shall identify a construction commencement date of their own choosing but no later than December 1, 2023.
