New construction and renovation of a power facility in Logan, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility; and for the construction of a power facility.
**Per Addendum 2 the bid date has been extended to 07/20/23** The City is seeking proposals for a firm that can take this project from design through construction. The project will include a 10 MW power plant. Logan City Light & Power is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents for electrical generation utilizing 100% natural gas as a fuel source. The generation equipment sizing of 10MW will be dependent upon the successful bidder’s equipment configuration. Logan will determine the final plant sizing and type of generators upon awarding the contract. Preliminary air study shows that 10MW will likely be the maximum generation to be installed at the location. It is anticipated that the project will include the following general details: ? Design and Construction ? 1-4 Generators for combined capacity of 7-10 Mw ? Generation building or area ? Provide gas compressors if the site Natural Gas pressure is not sufficient for proposed generators.
