Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in West Allis, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
In general, the work consists of the removal of two steel bleacher sections, asphalt pavement (approximately 7,750 Square Yards full depth and 8,350 Square Yards of Milling), concrete sidewalk (approximately 600 Square Yards). The proposed conditions include new asphalt pavement (approximately 2,500 Tons), standard and colored concrete sidewalk (3,550 Square Yards combined), water and sanitary extensions, various storm sewer replacement, underground electrical and communication relocation work, landscape and concrete walls, railings, lighting, and landscape plantings. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Base Bids will be received as a single lump sum bid for: 5) Electrical. NOTICE: The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. All questions regarding the bidding documents should be directed to Karl Jensen, Engineer at (262) 408-5383.
