A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Historic Courthouse Rotunda Decorative Painting Re-Bid Scope of Work: The County will contract with an artist to design and implement decorative trim and murals that will be painted on the walls only on the third floor the building that starts at the top of the grand staircase, framed by plaster columns on each side, leading up to the Council Chambers. We have three identifiable areas to adorn the third floor as detailed below. The scope of the project will include working with designated County staff to determine the images to be painted in each of the outlined murals, how these images will be depicted and once approved, will implement the approved painting on the appropriate sections. The final negotiated price will be based upon the time needed to obtain the agreed upon design. The County is responsible for any plaster repair work that is needed prior to the start of the decorative painting. The overall painting of the walls is not included in the overall base cost, but the base paint color will be a mutually agreed upon color to coordinate with the murals. The County expects the area being painted to be cleaned and accessible each day to ensure the public and staff having access to the areas. All trash shall be properly disposed of by the contractor. Any damage to existing flooring, structure, or furnishings by the contractor, shall be restored by the contractor. All questions must be received no later than 2:00 PM on 8/16/23. Any question received after this deadline may not be answered. Performance and Payment Bonds: A 100% Performance and Payment Bond in favor of the Owner. The Security Co. representing Contractor must be authorized to do business in the State of Missouri and be approved by Owner. Performance and Payment bond will be required if project is $50,000.00 or greater.
