Description of Work: San Juan County is seeking public works bids for the construction of a 40’x60’ pole building at the Orcas Transfer station on Orcas Island. Facility is to be constructed in accordance with the Contract Plans and Provisions and the Washington State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction, 2023 edition. A bid deposit shall be submitted with each bid, either in the form of a bid bond in lieu of deposit or as a cashier’s check or money order in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Bidders wishing to visit the site must contact San Juan County in advance at gregts@sanjuanco.com or (360) 370-0549, to arrange their visit. San Juan County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the County. Bids will be subject to review and compliance with specifications.
