The Board of Education of St. Mary's County on behalf of St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to perform removal of the drop tube flapper valve overfill device and install a new pressure delivery overfill device and drop tube for multiple underground fuel storage tanks throughout SMCPS schools and administrative buildings. The existing riser and spill basin should be used where possible. Install a new riser to be used as a stick point (measuring point). Provide a Veeder Root technician to correct programming issues and to provide training to site staff at sites with the Veeder Root system. Perform any site work that is required as well as clean-up after installations. Provide overfill verification form for MDE upon completion of installation. Please coordinate site visits with Ms. Mary Burroughs, Department of Maintenance @ 301-475-4256 x 34106 prior to bid opening. SMCPS reserves the right, in the exercise of its sole discretion, to cancel this bid or reject all bids.
