A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Provide engineering services for Preparation of Project Study Report-Project Development Support (PSR-PDS), Project Approval/Environmental Document (PA/ED), Plans Specification & Estimate (PS&E), and design services during construction for the Lynn Rd Improvements in accordance with Caltrans Project Development Procedure Manual (PDPM). The City plans to provide bicycle and pedestrian facilities within approximately 4.6-miles of Lynn Road, between Gainsborough Road to Reino Road including US 101 Overcrossing (see Attachment A - Site Vicinity and Location Map & Attachment B - Concept Plan), with the main project objective of improving bicyclist and pedestrian safety. The improvements consist of bicycle and traffic lane striping and markings, construction of incomplete sidewalk segments and retaining walls (optional services), installation of crosswalks, and construction and rehabilitation of curb ramps and conversion of the existing equestrian trail from Hillcrest Dr. to US 101 northbound on-ramp into a Class IV bike lane. Within Caltrans right-of-way, replacement of existing barrier on the west side of the bridge with a current standard barrier, installation of new fencing with LED lighting on both sides of bridge, and installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB's) with advanced blinking LED signs at uncontrolled crossings.
