Site work for a civil project in Thousand Oaks, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Slope mediation/stabilization in three on the eastern and western slopes above HCTP totaling approximately 1,000 feet. Project includes regrading the existing slope cut bench and installing a concrete drain swales. A new concrete swale will direct storm flow to a proposed down drain that will deposit hillside storm flow to the existing retaining wall drainage system at the HCTP. Additional, slope mediation/stabilization includes removal/minor grading of loose soil material from slope to reduce the potential of debris falling. Stabilization could include a hillside soil/debris retention system in areas with extensive loose soil/rock material. Project is included in the City of Thousand Oaks' Fiscal Years 2023-2024/2024-2025 CIP Budget. Per the owner, as of February 7, 2025, design is complete and bids have been received for this project. A timeline for award and construction has not been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
