Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Thousand Oaks, California. Design plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Design, construct and install battery energy storage and associated microgrid, electrical and controls infrastructure at Municipal Service Center to provide resilience and off-grid operation for Transit operations in the event of a power outage. Microgrid will be designed to support electric bus charging and allow for autonomous operation of transit fleet under emergency conditions. As of July 17 2024 this project is in late schematics. Project is included in the City of Thousand Oaks' Fiscal Years 2023-2024/2024-2025 CIP Budget. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
