Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in North Bend, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
County : King County Kittitas County This is a federally funded project with a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Condition of Award Goal: 18% and Federal On-the-Job training hours: 1200. Rehabilitating 5 bridges and their bridge approach slabs by scarifying concrete surfaces, cement concrete pavement grinding, planing bituminous pavement and applying modified concrete overlays. Bridges 90/91.5S, 90/95S, 90/96S, and 90/98.6N require expansion joint modifications, and bridge 90/105S requires installation of a temporary median cross over, pavement seat modifications and a new bridge approach slab. Other work includes improvement of approximately 60 drainage structures by modifying grate inlets, installing energy dissipator tees and downslope pipe restraint systems, replacing cement concrete panels, trench drain repair and erosion and scour protection, roadway surface improvements with hot mix asphalt pavement repair and hot mix asphalt paving, installing illumination system and delineation, temporary traffic control and other work.
