Renovation of a hospitality development in Aurora, Illinois. Design plans call for the renovation of a hospitality development.
As of November 28, 2023, an architect has been selected but an anticipated construction timeline has not been established. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The City of Aurora is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional landscape architecture consultants interested in providing complete design services for the renovation of the City's existing Millennium Plaza. The successful Landscape Architect will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the design with the City of Aurora. Services may include, but are not limited to: Project schedules (time frames); Surveys--site (boundary), tree (if necessary), topographical, and geotechnical; Complete design, including civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical; Site plans depicting locations of all utilities, amenities, setbacks, etc.; Conceptual drawings and renderings, Participate in any required public hearings, and internal review of plans; Technology/AV/Communications/Security Design and integration with existing; Access to spaces in compliance with ADA and accessibility codes; Signage; Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment; Cost estimates; Construction drawings and specifications suitable for permitting; Addressing all permitting issues The City of Aurora encourages minority business firms to submit submittals and encourages the successful firm to utilize minority businesses as applicable.
