Verification Services must include the following tasks: 1. Submit to CARB and SMUD information necessary to comply with the Conflict of Interest (COI) requirements as specified in CARB's LCFS reporting regulation. 2. Conduct a kickoff meeting with SMUD in person or via teleconference during which the Proposer's verification plan and schedule will be discussed and revised as necessary, with the goal of mutual agreement. 3. Conduct on-site visits to SMUD facilities located in the vicinity of Sacramento, California with at least one accredited lead LCFS verifier. 4. Develop a sampling plan and complete data checks sufficient to meet regulation requirements. 5. Prepare and submit to SMUD verification reports and verification opinions that contain the evaluations performed in Task 4 above. Initial findings shall be provided to SMUD within 30 days from the date Proposer receives all of the requested data items. 6. Discuss the verification reports and verification opinions with SMUD in person or via teleconference and revise as necessary. 7. After SMUD addresses any potential misstatements and non-conformances, Proposer shall complete the verification processes within three weeks, or by the respective verification deadlines, whichever comes first. 8. Proposer to provide SMUD with copies of final verification reports and opinions. Proposer provides the final verification report within 45 days after the corresponding verification opinion has been issued.
