Town Hall Parking Lot Repaving Village of South Amherst, Ohio In accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Bramhall Engineering and Surveying Company, (the Engineer), the project consists of: pavement milling, asphalt base and surface course, minor curb work, pavement markings and maintenance of traffic. A Pre-Bid Meeting will not be held for this project. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said Surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that all work be completed by no later than September 1st 2023. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, service and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lorain County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644-2239. If the Village determines to award the contract, the Village will award it based on the lowest and best bid as determined in the discretion of the Village.
