Renovation of a fire / police facility in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The City of New Bedford is soliciting bids for the Fire Station No. 6 HVAC Upgrade Project. The City of New Bedford, Purchasing Department, in conjunction with the Department of Facilities & Fleet Management is soliciting sealed bids for the Fire Station No. 6 HVAC Upgrades located at 151 Purchase St., New Bedford, MA 02740. The work of this contract will require a DCAMM Prime General Contractor certified in HVAC. The bid process and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. The estimated budget for this project is $152,000 and the estimated substantial completion date is the end of December 2023. This project is funded in whole or part by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and as such is subject to federal contractual provisions, included herein All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be received in writing by the City of New Bedford via the City's bidding platform at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/newbedford no later than Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
