Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in West Seneca, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; residential development; and residential development.
Bids to perform the following work must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked on the outside thereof. Perform an asbestos survey on the house and detached garage. 1. Perform a controlled demolition of the house and detached garage, in accordance with NYSDOH regulations. Contractor shall have asbestos license per NYSDOH requirements. 2. Perform air monitoring during demolition. 3. Concrete basement floor to be broken up and remain. 4. Foundation walls to be broken up and remain. 5. Detached garage concrete and building to be removed in its entirety. 6. Driveway to be removed. 7. The sewer lateral to be removed in its entirety. This will include removing the sewer tap, at main line sewer, and repairing the main line sewer. 8. As an alternative, the sewer lateral could be slipped lined to cap off. 1. All specs and submittals to be reviewed by Town Engineering Dept. prior to work. 2. Upon completion, site to be graded with topsoil and grass seed. 9. Contractor responsible for terminating utilities with utility companies 10. The town reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all proposals. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 30 days after date of opening. New York State prevailing wages are in effect for this public work project. The Town Board will vote at the June 19, 2023, meeting on selected contractor. Work to begin no later than 30 days after awarded bid * There are no bidding documents for the project*
