Site work for a civil project in Hampton, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work under this Project generally consists of extending Grant Street from Armistead Avenue on the east side to Grant Circle at McAllister Street on the west side. The project includes an extension of Condor Street on the north side and a connection to North Stewart Street on the south side. The project includes installing new full depth asphalt pavement, storm sewer systems, water and sanitary sewer mainline and services lines, conduits for future pedestrian lights, concrete curb, sidewalks. These improvements are funded through the state Revenue Sharing program, which provides a state match for local funds spent on the project. Contract Time Limit 360 Days Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% Bid Security: 5% This is a state funded project with an MBE goal set at 4.34% and WBE goal set at 3.82%. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any minor non-substantive errors in the Bid. All questions are due in the Procurement Office no later than July 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS. Final addendum and answers to pre-bid questions will be available from the Procurement Office and on eVA. It shall be the responsibility of prospective bidders to verify, prior to turning in a response, if an addendum was issued. Bidders should check www.hampton.gov/bids-contracts for any addenda issued no later than 12 hours prior to bid receipt deadline.
