Proposers will not be released on account of errors except that the City reserves the right to waive any minor irregularity or informality in any Proposal. Question Deadline 06/14/2023 at 3:00 PM PT Preparation: o Establish a single point of contact and commit that person for the duration of the project to provide timely information relative to any project issues o Collaborate closely with the City's appointed Project Manager and key personnel to make sure there is continuous, effective communication, innovative problem-solving, and prompt work completion o Attend project team meetings with City staff including a kickoff meeting to discuss and formalize working relationships and project parameters, project team progress meetings, and presentations. Meetings will be virtual, except for the kickoff meeting o The Consultant should be experienced in pavement condition surveys and report preparation, including ranking software, and pavement maintenance strategies o Establish safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during the assessment o Secure access to the beach parking lot for data collection purposes o Notify stakeholders and the public about the assessment and its purpose Data Collection: o A comprehensive survey and assessment of the current paving inventory (area of each parking lot) of existing pavement types and conditions (including parking stalls, driving lanes, and pedestrian walkways) o Pavement design: Evaluation of the existing pavement design (structural section), including thickness, subgrade, and drainage. o Inspection of pavement surfaces to identify distress and defects, such as cracking, potholes, and surface raveling) o Measuring pavement cracking, rutting, and pothole severity o Evaluation of structural adequacy of pavement sections
