The work consists of furnishing approximately 1590 tons Hot Mix Asphalt for the Town of Fond du Lac. The hot mix asphalt product is to be loaded onto Fond du Lac County Highway Department trucks for delivery and placement by Fond du Lac County Highway Department. Materials purchased are intended to be used on the following project(s) funded by Town of Fond du Lac and/or the Wisconsin Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP):Project Proposal Estimated Quantity Units Unit Price Total Willow Lawn Road (River Road toward Trowbridge Drive) Asphalt Pavement (2.25 inches compacted thickness installed 20 feet total width) Type 3 LT 58-28 S E-1, 19.0 mm (binder) Lower Layer FOB Plant 895 Tons Asphalt Pavement (1.75 inches compacted thickness installed 20 feet total width) Type 4 LT 58-28 S E-1, 12.5 mm (surface) Upper Layer FOB Plant 695 Tons Limits and estimated tonnage of the above listed project may change depending on scope and unit prices received and may be added or deleted pending budget and scheduling. The Town of Fond du Lac reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid or parts of various bids, which will best serve the interest of the Town of Fond du Lac. The work is being bid to comply with the State of Wisconsin, Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) TRI project which is being used to fund a portion of the project costs.
