Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
City of Delta invites bids for the construction of Eaton Way (Cliveden Avenue to Derwent Way) Sidewalk project. The work generally consists of the installation of a new 2.2m wide sidewalk along the west side of Eaton Way from Cliveden Avenue to Derwent Way in Annacis Island. Eaton Way is a collector road that sees heavy truck traffic. City of Delta is pleased and appreciative to acknowledge funding from Translink towards the completion of this project. Except to the extent they are modified by supplemental specifications, the specifications for the Work, including the Standard Detail Drawings, are those found in the latest edition of MMCD. Those are the only portions of the MMCD that apply to this project. The Invitation to Tender document and process, and the contract the City enters into with the successful Bidder, are in the form attached to this Invitation to Tender. The MMCD Instructions to Tenderers and General Conditions do not apply. Award is subject to final approval.
