The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to secure Proposals from qualified experienced firms for on-call plumbing maintenance, repair services and plumbing replacement services. The Scope of Work includes the provision of plumbing services on an "as needed and when requested" basis including emergency response at the various City of Nanaimo Facilities and Civic buildings. The successful Contractor is expected to be available to respond twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, 365 days per year, as determined by the nature of a given situation and/or emergency. Contractors, workers and Sub-contractors must be fully vaccinated, have a clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check to enter Police buildings and have an approved criminal record check and vulnerable sector check to enter all other City buildings.
