PennBid charges an award fee of 1/4 of 1% (.0025) for Fixed Fee Contracts to the contractor the project is awarded to. Minimum award fee is $100 and a maximum $5,000. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. Bids shall be effective for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Mill and overlay 7,045 SY of 1.5 9.5mm superpave, replacement of eighteen (18) ADA ramps, restriping, and base repair. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified The Borough of Royersford reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Borough.
