REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR VARIOUS TRADE CONTRACTORS TO PROVIDE SERVICES: ELECTRICIANS, PLUMBERS, CARPENTERS, HVAC, IRRIGATION, FENCING, PAINTING, GENERATORS, GENERAL CONTRACTORS, AND OTHERS. Notice is hereby given that the Town of Ponce Inlet is seeking to compile a list of pre-qualified companies for the efficient repairs and replacement of miscellaneous items throughout the year. As various projects arise, the Town intends to select a company from the list to perform smaller tasks or from which to solicit a Request for Qualifications for larger, competitively priced projects. Candidates may include companies performing in various specialties listed above, among others. Successful companies or individuals should be able to provide at least 50% of the necessary personnel "in house." No single company is expected to be equally able to perform and be adept in all areas; therefore, the Town will consider submittals from multiple firms offering services involving service, maintenance, repair, construction, in any of the following fields: o External wood structures, such as stairways, walkway ramps, gazebos, and covered walkways o Internal building wall removals, framing, modifications, including drywall patching and painting o Interior and exterior painting o Electrical modifications, including exterior and internal building rewiring, electrical panels, etc. o Diesel generator service and replacements o Internal and external plumbing of town buildings o HVAC diagnosis, repair, and replacement, along with incidental work required o Irrigation system repair and replacement o Fence removal, repair, installation, and re-installation as required o Minor clearing of land o Minor grading of lots and rights-of-way o Pest Control Contractors must submit a copy of their business license and insurance at time of submittal; and shall maintain their business licenses and insurance for the duration of any contract they undergo at their own expense. All companies will need to be able to provide the following listed liability/comprehensive insurance and be able to produce of the proper state and local licensing to perform the required work as assigned. Submit two copies of the completed paperwork in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside. Submittals will be reviewed for completeness. Firms on the pre-qualified list will have a two-year term with the option of one-year extensions, not to exceed five years.
