Local Public Agency: Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana Project Location: Grabill Road Bridge #29 over St Joseph River, and Clay Street intersection at SR 1 within the town of Leo-Cedarville in Allen County, Indiana. Project Description: Replacement of the existing bridge superstructure to restore structural capacity and also construct a new trail along the north side of the bridge. The trail will extend from SR 1 west of the bridge to the existing trail east of the bridge. The project includes installation of a new traffic signal and roadway improvements at the intersection of Clay Street and SR 1 to accommodate the detour route during construction and to permanently remain in service afterward. Phases Included: Construction Inspection Estimated Construction Amount: $7,440,000 Funding: Federal Funding involved Term of Contract: Until Project Completion DBE goal: 7.0% The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
