As of July 12, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The tentative date for award is July 18, 2023. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. In accordance with Section 220 of the New York Labor Law, all public works contracts in excess of $250,000.00 require that all laborers, workers and mechanics working on the site be certified as having successfully completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course. Subject to the foregoing, the availability of funds, and prevailing lawful requirements, the Town will award the contract to the lowest responsible qualified bidder Questions and/or requests for clarification shall be submitted in writing to Crystal Owens by email at Bids@CurrituckCountyNC.gov no later than 10:00 a.m. on June 6, 2023. All questions requiring additional information will be responded to in an addendum no later than 10:00 a.m. on June 12, 2023. All addenda shall become part of the Contract Documents.
