Renovation of Irrigation Wells at Larter Field. Larter Field relies on seven shallow point wells, each of them approximately 30 ft. deep, to supply water to its irrigation system and require upgrades, including new pumps, tank restoration, and general upgrades. Two of the seven pumps are functioning properly. Estimated Cost $33,600 Larter Field hosts sporting events and activities, and residents use the field for walking, riding bikes, roller blading, running their dogs, and other recreational activities. It's one of the busiest and most popular gathering places in town. The Field relies on 7 shallow point wells to supply water to its irrigation system. Each of the wells are approximately 30 feet deep. Two of the seven pumps are functioning properly. Summary of Project and Requirements: o Remove the packer assemblies and screens from wells 1,2,3,4, and 7. o Redevelop the wells including the addition of new screens and packer assemblies installed in each well. o Flow rates to be determined for each well. o Supply and install 3, 1.5 horsepower deep well jet pumps. o Supply and install 2, 1 horsepower deep well jet pumps. o Replace 2 of the water tanks with new 7.6 gallon well tanks. o Ensure system is online, with all 7 wells and pumps functioning properly and servicing the irrigation system adequately.
