Renovation of a municipal facility in Dunstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town Common hosts many community events and gatherings throughout the year. It is located in the center of Town on Main Street/Route 113 across from Town Hall. The Bandstand on Town Common was constructed in 1987 by the Greater Lowell Technical High School. Summary of Project and Requirements: Replace cedar shake shingle roof and crown molding Replace floorboards as-needed, not to exceed 6 floorboards in total Replace horizontal tread boards of stairs and railings on both sides of stairs Replace wood skirting base with azek skirt board or material equal to azek Scrape and paint structure with matching colors and paint The Town of Dunstable anticipates additional, miscellaneous repairs to be needed to the lattice, bandstand railing, and possible other areas. Bidders should include these anticipated miscellaneous repairs in their price proposal, not to exceed a cost of $3,500 total. All repairs should be consistent with the materials and specifications contained in the original plans included in this specification and available to view at Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, Dunstable, MA 01827. Renovation of Town Common Bandstand, including repairs to roof, railings, stairs, floor, base, and miscellaneous repairs. Scraping and painting the bandstand is also part of the project.
