Reference Number 0000322289 Questions are submitted online No The objective of these specifications is to secure a proposal for recoating the interior of various water tanks on Town of Amherst sewer jet cleaning vehicles. The water tanks in question are cylindrical with parabolic cone caps at each end. The Town of Amherst is awarding a two-year term contract. This contract may be extended for not more than two successive periods of equal length at the same bid price upon the mutual agreement of the successful respondent and the Town of Amherst. Supply labor, materials and equipment for the surface preparation and coating of the above interior water truck tanks. Abrasive blast clean interior tank walls and baffles to an SSPC-SP10 near white blast clean. Vacuum tank to remove all trace dust & debris. Apply two (2) coats of Carboline Plasite 9133 (or equivalent) for a DFT of 12-14 mils. Apply one (1) stripe coat of Carboline Plasite 9133 (or equivalent) to all welds and seams in between coats. The entire lining will be holiday tested to ensure a 100% pinhole free lining.
