Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Williamsville, New York. Design plans call for the construction of a 33,600-square-foot restaurant; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

As of March 23, 2023, an engineer has been selected for this project. Project is seeking site approvals. A bid date for a general contractor has not been confirmed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The proposed development includes the construction of an approximate 33,600 square foot sports arena building. The building will contain an athletic field primarily for flag football games as well as an area designated for sport courts (i.e. volleyball, pickleball, etc.). A restroom is also planned for the building. Other improvements to the building include a domestic and fired suppression water lines to serve the sports arena as well as a sanitary sewer connection to the building. Additional site improvements include a private pump station and forcemain to serve the sports arena, existing restaurant and residential building east of the project. The dome, designed by Metzger Civil Engineering Inc. of Clarence, will be anchored by a sports turf field large enough for indoor flag football, soccer and lacrosse games and leagues. Construction is expected to start pending final Lancaster reviews in early January and should be completed by the fall 2023, David said. The project will be the third sports dome along Wehrle Drive between Transit Road and Harris Hill Road. The Epic Sports & Fun Center is located at 2793 Wehrle Drive and the Wehrle Golf Dome is at 8230 Wehrle Drive. A 120-foot by 60-foot court for activities such as pickleball, volleyball and basketball also is planned. Construction is expected to start pending final Lancaster reviews in early January and should be completed by the fall 2023, David said.
