The College is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in assisting, developing Develop a consistent and standardized wayfinding plan that will enable the College (PPSC) to provide easily understood and comprehensive direction to visitors, students, faculty and staff that will improve the on-campus navigational experience. The project will involve creating Design Guidelines for wayfinding and brand standards, evaluating each campus and creating wayfinding design and layout. Developing a cost estimate. The projects may involve the fabrication and installation (including removal and disposal of existing signs) depending on available funding. The college is seeking a turnkey solution, including permitting, mounting, patching, painting and repair, electrical, etc. and all costs associated with the installation of new signs All questions must be addressed to the Procurement Office and hand delivered or e-mailed to Procurement.bids@ppcc.edu by June 8, 2023 at 10:00am Questions will not be accepted after this date. All questions and answers will be posted on the CORE portal on June 12, 2023 at 2:00pm A start and completion date will be mutually agreed upon by both parties with an approximate start date of June 12, 2023 and a no later than completion date of June 30, 2023. The work schedule MUST be coordinated and approved with the Campus Director. Awarded contractor must execute the required agreement and furnish a Certificate of Insurance on Accord form that meets the state requirements, see Attachment C. Construction costs that are $50,000 or more must be accompanied by a Bid Bond. If total bid exceeds $100,000 contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond (SC-6.22) AND a Labor and Material Payment Bond (SC-6.221) with limits of each equal to 100% of the accepted bid with power of attorney.
