The Millard High School project will consist of new construction of approximately 63,000 sqft on the existing campus. Schematic development proposes a two story classroom building be constructed along improvements to the existing CTE and cafeteria spaces that will remain after demolition of the existing main school building. The new building would consists of administrative offices, media center, student commons, kitchen, classrooms, and a lecture hall. The Fillmore Elementary School project is an addition to the existing Fillmore Elementary School, this will consist of 8-10 classrooms, all to be determined as budgets allow with help from the CM during design. The Delta Tech Building will consist of the expansion of shop space for the CTE programs. Millard High will include demolition of existing portions on the school campus and may require phasing of the work to allow the school campus to remain open to student use during construction activity. Delta Technology Building - Spring 2024 - June 2025 The Board of Education for the Millard School District proposes to contract with a CM/GC for the purpose of these important projects. Responsibilities of the CM/GC will include but are not limited to the following work: 1. Provide pre-construction evaluation and costing analysis. At a minimum, work will include attendance at project evaluation sessions during design, formal value engineering activity, schedule and phasing proposals and cost modeling at schematic, design development and construction document phases. 2. Oversee and be responsible for the bidding, award and contract of all necessary sub construction activity. 3. Overall Construction Management of all phasing and necessary scheduling control related to the actual construction. 4. Assistance with coordination of agency approvals, specifically the approvals related to construction phasing and construction activities on an occupied site.
