The City of Des Peres reserves the right to reject all bids, waive technicalities, and award any bid that is the most advantageous and to make investigations concerning the experience and ability of the bidder to perform the work. A five (5) percent bid security in the form specified must accompany each bid. A Performance Bond shall be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid prior to signing the purchase order. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Since time is of the essence in this Contract, it is agreed that the Owner would suffer loss by the failure of the Contractor to have said work completed in all its parts on said day, and as it might be difficult and expensive to accurately compute the amount of such loss, in order to avoid such expense and difficulty, the Contractor expressly covenants and agrees to pay the Owner the sum of $100.00 per day Questions regarding the bid request should be directed via email to: Jeff Nilges, RLA, Planning Design Studio jeffnilges@planningdesignstudio.com.
