The City of Johnson City, Tennessee is seeking the services of a qualified company or individual qualified to deliver architecture/engineering, specifications, cost estimates, contract documents, and construction administration services as required to construct a new Fire Station #4 on the vacant property bound by W Market Street, Johnson Avenue, CVS Pharmacy, and Henry Johnson Alternative Learning Center. The City intends to enter into a design agreement with a firm that has experience in projects of this nature for municipalities or other government entities The scope of the project is outlined below. The selected firm will determine final project features based on their own experience, site conditions, construction budget, and input from City staff. A. Site: Conceptual sketch attached; Geotechnical report attached B. Approximate Facility Size: 8,600 SF (5,000 SF apparatus bay plus 3,600 SF living/office quarters) The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities, irregularities, and technicalities in the proposal process. C. Staffing: Minimum 8 personnel, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year D. Construction: Assume conventional concrete/masonry/steel; Other materials and methods will be considered
