As of August 24, 2023, project was awarded to Northwoods Paving / Mathy Construction with an estimated amount of $113,658.24 The Town of Delta is requesting a bid for the following work: Milling, patching/wedging, and resurfacing of approximately 5467 feet of Scenic Drive made up of two separate segments of approximately 2013 feet and 3454 feet. The first segment begins at the Eastern end of Scenic drive where it joins County Highway H and continues in a Westward direction for approximately 2013 feet. The second section begins at the junction of Scenic Drive and Canthook Lake Road and continues generally Eastward for approximately 3454 ft. -All patching, wedging, and pavement shall be hot mix asphalt cement -Patching and/or milling is required in 11 locations in addition to the milling of the butt joints at the end of each segment. -All milled material shall be delivered to the Delta Town Garage location for future use by the Town. -Patching shall be nominal 1-1/2" compressed thickness of hot mix asphalt cement. -Once milling and patching is completed the complete segment shall be broomed/swept as necessary, tack coated and paved with a nominal 1" compressed thickness of Ultrathin 5MT hot mix asphalt cement. The new pavement shall cover the complete width of the current pavement. -All work shall be done in general technical compliance with current relevant Wisconsin DOT specifications. -The work shall be completed by October 1 -Shouldering is not included in this bid. -The bid shall be compiled and presented as a lump sum for mobilization and demobilization; a lump sum for milling, hauling milled material, and cleanup; a unit rate per ton of asphalt cement for wedging and patching and a unit rate per ton for the Ultrathin 5MT topcoat overlay material. An estimated total for the whole job shall also be included. The bid shall also include documentation of Contractor's previous experience with Ultrathin 5MT mixing and paving.
