Renovation of a military facility in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The project consists of the civil/site, structural, architectural, interior finish, mechanical and electrical repairs and improvements to the existing Building 335 Child Development Center) at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD). Concurrent with the renovations of the, a temporary modular classroom building will provide space for displaced classrooms, offices and support spaces, and is referred to as the "Swing Space". This Swing Space will follow a design-build delivery method to accommodate the tight timeframe and nature of modular construction. The repairs will follow a traditional design-bid-build delivery method. The Construction Cost Limit (CCL) for the repairs and Swing Space is set at $6,700,000
