Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elwood, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidders bond made payable to the Owner, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price, each with corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful execution of the Contract, The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specific shall not be considered. Any questions shall be directed to Josh Grabijas, PE of HWC Engineering by email only at jgrabijas@hweengineering.com The deadline for questions is Friday, June 9th at 10:00 am. Bid Documents submitted by Contractors who have not, in the opinion of the Engineer and/or Owner, had sufficient experience in the size and type work involved may not be considered Substantial Completion Date shall be July 12, 2024. Final Completion Date shall be July 26, 2024, The contract will consist of the following: 2023-1 CCMG Paving and associated work items of various streets throughout the City of Elwood
