This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Jackson, Missouri. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The purpose of this project is to furnish and deliver to the City of Jackson, Missouri one (1) newly manufactured, or re-manufactured, American made, 1500 KVA, 12470Y/7200 primary, 480/277 secondary voltage, electric distribution pad mounted transformer, including all equipment and other incidental items as required in the attached specifications. Preference will be given for a newly manufactured transformer but a re-manufactured transformer will be considered. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in its best interest. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest and best, responsive, responsible bidder. The City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this invitation, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration of award.
