Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manhattan, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project is infrastructure improvements to North Manhattan Avenue, Campus Creek Ave, and Bayberry Ln in Manhattan Kansas. New traffic signals are to be installed at the intersection of North Manhattan Avenue to Bertrand, Thurston, Vattier, and modified at Bluemont. Portions of the existing connecting streets located on KSU's campus will be realigned for a new roundabout installed west of a new intersection at Bertrand Street. This project includes but is not limited to asphalt mill and overlay (2626 SY), concrete safety barrier (~300 LF), roadway construction (~6000 SY), sidewalk construction (~15,000 SF), campus creek stabilization (350 LF), and reinforced concrete box construction ((2)-7'x4', 230 CY).
