The City of Manhattan, through Sunset Zoo, a division of the Parks and Recreation Department, is requesting qualifications from professional design consultants to assist the City in preparing conceptual design and 30% drawings and a construction budget estimate to be utilized for future capital planning and fund-raising. The project will generally include preliminary design services for new or renovated animal habitats focusing on African Plains, Australia, and the Americas, and featuring a contact corral, a lemur exhibit, and a bobcat exhibit.
