Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Winchester, Massachusetts. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of July 11, 2023, all of the bids were over in price, so they are not awarding this project at this time. No definite date for the rebid. Estimate value: $345,000 Work under this item shall consist of providing traffic management as required, selective tree removal, saw-cutting pavement, removing and resetting curbs, pavement and membrane waterproofing removal, installation of waterproofing and hot mix asphalt pavement overlay, removal of unsound concrete, performing partial and full depth concrete repairs, installing supplemental reinforcement, pressure injection of cracks, removal and replacement of sewer pipe insulation, installation of concrete utility support, temporary protective shielding, temporary control of water, and mortaring joints of existing stone masonry abutments as shown on the plans and as specified below. Work shall also include any items incidental but not explicitly called for on the plans or stated above Notification shall be given to the Engineer at least seven (7) days prior to the date that the area in question will be in a condition acceptable to the Engineer.
