Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Saint Anthony, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
As of September 5, 2023, construction is underway and expected to be completed in April, 2026. A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include constructing up to three 10,434 SF 20 room wet cell Cottages. Construction generally consists of slab on grade, double wythe exterior bearing wall with prefabricated wood truss and I-joist roof system covered with prefinished standing seam metal roof. CMU interior walls throughout. Detention grade doors, windows and furnishings Forced air, gas fired furnaces. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. Estimated Cost: $17,590,000.00 *As of July 17, 2023, addendum 3 has been issued.
