As of July 11, 2023 the project has been cancelled because it was way over the budgeted amount and rebid will not be until next year . The City of Delta is accepting sealed bids for the installation of a mini split system in the IT equipment room. There are two rooms and each room shall have its own cassette mounted in the suspended ceiling, each room shall have its own remote or thermostat for temperature control. The main unit will be mounted on a stand on the roof with linesets penetrating the roof to the cassettes, the contractor must secure a qualified roofing company to seal the penetration that will need to be made in the EPDM roofing material. The Contractor must also secure an electrical contractor to install a power run to the unit. The City reserves the right to amend this IFB by an addendum at any time prior to the date set for receipt of bids.The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without disclosing the reason therefore, to waive any information in the proposals received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous and in the best interest of the City. Installation to include but not limited to: o Install a roof mount mini split system. o Run linesets down to rooms. o Install two cassettes one in each room mounted in the suspended ceiling, each cassette shall have its own temperature control. o Secure an electrical contractor to install a new power run to the unit. o Secure a roofing contractor qualified to seal roof penetrations made in the EPDM roof to run linesets. Connect control wire and condensate. o Contractor is responsible for securing all permits needed.
