Site work for a road / highway in Vail, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Vail, Colorado is requesting bids to provide all labor, equipment, and material (via separate bid) necessary for the installation of approximately 23,600 FEET of conduit via directional bore and or vibratory plow, 24 Handholes, installation of approximately 32,000 FEET of fiber optic cable, either blown into new conduit or pulled through existing conduits, and 312 fusion splices at 9 locations. Conduit will include Future Path 7 Cell HDPE installed via directional boring, and Microduct HDPE installed via vibratory plow. Cable, equipment, conduit, handholes, tracer wire, etc. will all be provided by the Town of Vail and can be bid on separately from this RFP. The Town of Vail reserves the right to shortlist or select one firm from qualified submitters to pursue construction services. The town may reject all or any submittal received as a result of this request, to negotiate with all qualified sources, or to cancel all or part of the RFP.
